The land of extremes and impossibly wondrous chaos, India has it all. For me, no other country exposes the connectivity between the past and present like India. From her festivals and monuments, to her syncretistic and conflicting religions, to her fierce and friendly people -- you bounce between the centuries every moment. Most who visit the subcontinent, come home with tales of being seduced by sounds, sights, smells, color and the strange existence of calm in the midst of disorder. And through it all, you somehow find a part of yourself you never knew existed.
